‘‘It’s humbling and a privilege to serve families as an officiant or celebrant on what, for some, can be one of their hardest days. Even in the toughest circumstances - unexpected deaths or lives ended too soon - it is a vital time to honor, not only grief, but love and gratitude for lives shared, remembered and cherished.” - Rae Moss

Funerals and Life Celebrations both serve the important role of honoring a recently deceased loved one, supporting the bereaved by bringing family and community together, and publicly marking the milestone of the passing of a person’s life. They differ in formality and content, with funerals being more traditional and often more religious, and life celebrations more informal or modern in style. A service may involve traditional and modern aspects. The right decisions are your decisions. Every person is unique. You will be supported in whatever style of service you choose.
