Rae is passionate about human stories and the healing power of remembrance. She is called to this work with over 20 years of experience in storytelling, public speaking and public advocacy as an award-winning author (under her pen name Tara Moss) and human rights advocate. She brings her compassion and skills as a storyteller and communicator to her work, bringing a calm and authentic presence to these important milestones and times of grief and life celebration.
Whether contemporary or traditional, non-religious or spiritual, or whether for a life celebration, memorial tribute, green burial service, ash scattering, graveside service or more, Rae is able to put your needs and the wishes of your loved one before all else, to help create fitting services and ceremonies that are personal and meaningful.
Rae is a CCAOC Certified Life Celebrant and Funeral Officiant, and a recipient of both the Order of Lambrick Park and the Honorary Citizen Award, the City of Victoria’s highest honour.
